About Sunsark

The Sunsark company started in 2009 with the sealing of a patent for a renewable-energy vessel concept using wind, solar and electric propulsion. The Sunsark name derives from Cutty Sark, the last of the wind-powered tea clippers and the Sun’s arc across the sky, a key to solar energy.

Sunsark’s registered trademark is a computer-aided design image of the sun, the sun’s arc and the top of a sail mast in a clear blue sky, viewed through a window into the future.

The Sunsark advantages

Sunsark provides a fresh perspective by integrating electrical and ITEE (Information, Telecommunications and Electronics Engineering) specialities. A small company providing tailored innovation without a hefty price tag or the encumbrance of large organisation silos. When you work with Sunsark and its partners, you get direct access to the experts with the experience, knowledge and creativity to deliver the engineering solutions you require.

The combination of unique engineering skills and experience can see your project right through from concept to completion – with innovation built-in.

“I’ve worked all over the country, and internationally on projects that have made life easier for people. From developing telecommunications networks and train systems, to exploring what’s possible in electric propulsion for marine vessels, I keep the end-user experience in mind.

I like to keep pace with emerging technology, think big and consider which approaches will serve us all best in the future. My personal methodology combines customer appeal, efficiency and sustainability from overall system concept, right down to component details.”
